So, this is a vent, of sorts. And yes, I did just count how many journal entries I'd made just so I could put the number of this entry in Roman numerals... I'm cool like that.

So anyway, it appears in my previous journal dated 13th February that I promised to myself that I'd do one sketch every weekday. This has not gone well as I should have just over 60 sketches completed by now; when in fact I actually have done a big fat zero.
Whoops. Haven't even gotten round to buying some new pencils, eraser and sharpener yet... I should probably get a move on with that.

I have been slightly more successful on the photography front since I got my new camera battery, having actually taken one photo. I make myself sad sometimes... lol.

GET OFF YOUR FAT LAZY ARSE ANDREW.

Right, so that is part one of the journal of rantness over and done with.
The second part is regarding my personal life... Mainly the bit where I become single after an 18-month relationship. :(

Kinda sucks, huh? Don't think I'll be looking around for another boyfriend for a while, despite getting a tonne of messages from the vultures who seemed to pounce on me as soon as I changed my relationship status.

I'll just try to enjoy being single for a while... At least this time I can take some solace in the fact that this time I know for sure that I have experienced love.

Need to get a grip. When life hands you lemons, you make lemonade... Lemonade so bitter it will melt your face.

Actually I'm kinda joking, it wasn't a bad breakup so we are still friends. It was pretty much brought about by unfortunate circumstances and our relationship wasn't working as well as we'd hoped.

Oh well, I'll stop with the emoface now.
Thanks for reading (if you did).

And I'll leave you with a few lovely things I have favouritised recently:

Resolution

So, I guess I need to actually do art stuff now, seeing as I can't use the lack of a camera battery as an excuse.

I used to be quite good at drawing, and recently found a bunch of sketchpads and pencils from my arty school days, so I might start drawing again.

I realised I seem to have become artophobic and have a general reluctance to go out and take pictures, and yesterday I attempted to paint something digitally but it was total rubbish so I didn't even bother saving it. Then I went to sketch something and wasn't able to actually commit pencil to paper. :(

So, I am now resolving to do at least one quick sketch every weekday, either before or after work, and might upload them to scraps or something. I'll try and care my camera with me more often, although I don't particularly want to look like a tourist lol.

Meh! I do want to get back into my creativity, but I just seem to be holding myself back. Need to let go and get to it methinks!

PS: Should I start featuring people? It seems to be a popular thing to do these days. Of course this means I'll have to post a journal regularly...

PPS: If you see any stamps I should have in the Stamps section of my journal page, let me know! =P

PPPS: I have started, only to remember that:
i. pencils have a nice smell
ii. I still can't draw people
iii. I need to buy an eraser
iv. I need to buy a decent pencil sharpener

PPPPS: If you have any ideas or requests for me to attempt to draw, let me know!

Okay that's it; I'm done with post-script comments now. ;)

Soo, I got up this morning and saw all the snow and I had time to go out and take a few photos. Haven't seen what they look like on my computer yet but I will have a look at them properly when I get home from work and see if any of them are worth uploading. :D

Stamps

What ever happened to
small stamps anyway?
